Below is my first attempt at a Warhammer Fantasy Battle army list since around 6th edition. I like the Throgg-based all monster list idea ( I have a friend that ran a similar list in 7th). I have two questions about the below list:
1) Is there anything that would need to be drastically changed to have a fun army that is moderately competitive (I probably won't play too many tournament s but I don't want to lose all the time either).
2) Any suggestions for the last 325 points that would fit with the theme of the army?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Seeing as how you've got the exalted thrown in a slaughterbrute to control it?

Otherwise seeing as how you've got throgg who let's monsters use him as a Bsb for breaktests and his leadership in general within 18", drop the exalted and maybe look at dragon ogres, chaps ogres or the mutabeast vortex whatever in rare or hey a chimaera lol these are all monsters and therefor all benefit from both of thrifts monster king type rules

Also ice lord his Bsb doesn't need to go anywhere he is riding in the warshrine :p

HIDING IN THE METAL BAWKSES!!

Not bad, Id second tossing the BSB, Throgg took care of that mostly. I'd go for a Lv. 2 sorcerer for back up spell casting.
Chimera is like a flying Warhydra, which is awesome.
Slaughterbrute or Shaggoth are both pretty good too.

DP is asking to eat a cannon ball. Get a back up sorcerer to take the scroll. Then the Prince can take a charmed shield for a 1+ and ignore the first cannon ball.

Why take a Warshrine when your only guys that can benefit are Throgg and the DP?

Slaughterbrutes are good when tied to a DP. Skullcrushers are ridiculously good now. Dragon Ogres are good too. The chariots are also really good with MoK.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Thanks for all of the suggestions that I've received so far!

Throgg does give his Leadership to all War Beasts, Monstrous Infantry. Monstrous Beats, and Monsters within 18" but does no act as a BSB for them. That was why I included the Exalted Hero. I put the Exalted Hero is on a Warshrine for a few reasons: the Warshrine can be used to buff the BSB, Throgg, or the Daemon Prince, also an Ogre Mutant if I add them and he's relatively safe 1+/3++ for the BSB and 3++ for the Warshrine (re-roll all Ward save results of 1.
I hoped that the inclusion of 3 separate characters with Ld buffing abilities would make an opponent have to choose to Cannon ball snipe one and give me some protection that way.
I liked the look of the Chimera and I'll have to give that a try. Trying to add a Dispel Scroll carrying Sorcerer is a good idea. I'll have to see how I can make that work.

Being unfamiliar with the tactics in Fantasy anymore I'm not sure if any of the above ideas are worth while but I figured I'd give all of you a glimpse into why I made some of those choices.

Does anyone have experience running Throgg in a horde of Chaos Trolls? I'm wondering if 17 Trolls (6x3 ranks) isn't overkill. I could do another unit of 8 Chaos Trolls and a unit of 7 Chaos Trolls (for Throgg) with76 points to spare.

Playing ogres and chaos i will always stand by monsterous hording. overkill? in some cases yes but your unit has won and either reformed to a beneficial position or overun straight into the enemy ready to bring the pain.

I look at it this way. 8 trolls may well win combat but an enemy unit will most likely be stubborn and most likely stay in the fight. this exposes your flanks and theres nothing you can do about it. 18 trolls (including Throgg) will smash a unit and most likely remove its stubborn, hence they fail and you either reform favourably or overun to charge them down or clatter into something else.

i would keep the horde and use the 8 unit as a support unit.
