Hey dakka.

So, can you guys name me some chapters that prefer Fast attack, notably bikes, other than the White Scars coz they're too mainstream as i am thinking about a bike army in future (far future haha) and im interested in other GW chapters that like to use bikes.

Thanks in advance

Ravenwing from the Dark Angels.

Depends on what you want. Bikes are a Ravenwing staple though.

Dark Angels Ravenwing make extensive use of bikes and other fast attack units, other than that their are not many chapters that use alot of bikes

Apparently the salamanders use bikes in their 2nd, 3rd and 4th companies. I will keep looking around for more chapters

The Raven Guard mainly use assault marines, landspeeders and bikes. Other than that I'm not sure, I would have to check ever chapter on the Warhammer 40k wiki to find out.

Red Templars, they always used to be pictured on bikes back in 3rd.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also, worth mentioning that every Codex chapter's 6th company are trained to deploy all as bikers.

Aaaand try the Storm Lords, Marauders and Rampagers. The White Scars' IA goes on about those guys following the Khan's techniques.

Actually, a pretty good fast attack list might be the black templars. I mean their bikes arent all that great, buuuut their landspeeders are super cheap.

I think a black templar fast attack squad might work pretty well. As far as fluff goes, they are all about charging to face their enemies. Charging on a bike is just that much faster.

How about the Hawk Lords ? Or the Soul Drinkers, fluff wise, they favoured fast assaults with JP's,so bikes would fit into that nicely in a support role.

Our LS Typhoons are cheap yes, but the bikes are waaayyy too expensive.

Anyway, if the OP really is so aversive of "mainstream", why not just create a custom Codex chapter and be done with it?

White Scars mainstream? I can't remember the last time I saw anyone take one to the field. Or, for that matter, at all.

There are a couple on Dakka, out of a lot of members...

I'm a recent recruit to their ranks (although a long-time fan), hopefully I will get my first 1,000 points painted and on the table in the next month!
