As the title suggests, I need help with finding a suitable model to convert into a Tesla Trooper from Red Alert 2. Preferably, I'd like to have someone with an outstretched arm that I could put a powerfist on as the base to the Tesla gauntlet. I was thinking about using Scout Marines with a Power Armored body to start get the fabric part, then greenstuff a big dome onto the body for the head, guitar strings for the power cables, etc.

Here's some references if you don't know what a Tesla Trooper looks like, or if you need a refresher.
A nice big detailed one that someone made
Some concept art
The ingame icon
The Red Alert 3 Tesla Trooper, which I could use as a Dreadnought

On the board, I'm probably going to use them as counts-as meltagun, since Tesla Troopers are short range anti tank troops.

If you have any other ideas on what model to start with, by all means please help out by dropping a link or PM or something.

I had a quick ponder, then compared actual models, I'd say the Tau XV25 stealth suit's head/helmet thing is quite close in size and shape. Could trim the bit that goes over the head and round it off with greenstuff. I compared it to a scout torso, rather than powerarmor, and they'd fit well. Could tinker with the vision optics, possibly even fill the hole with GS and just make a narrow vision slit. Depends how close you want to be in shape, the more accurate option would be as you say just GS the head.

The marine assault squad box has a outstretched (pointing) powerfist arm, should be easy enough to readjust the finger so it's not pointing. Then could have a scout (or even IG) arm opposite, seeing as the concept art only has one armored arm.

Would be a neat conversion, be sure to show it off once it's done.

Edit: Forgot to add the XV25 picture..

Oh man, I forgot about the Assault Marine powerfist. I'll ask around at my FLGS and see if anyone has a spare.

I'll have to see the XV25 spruce though.
