I was wondering where I could get these in Canada...

I saw some company offer yellow, red, blue but no purple...
I don't know what to order from private small companies and I don't need a lot...

So just wondering if anybody knows where I can get some...

You could try painting over some regular ones?

Well, I still want them to be transparent...

I might get some red ones and apply some washes to them since no one knows how to get some directly...

But it would be nice to just get them instead of putting so much more work into the rods...

You might not need a modelling company, specifically, to get those parts. Check the phone book or internet listings for a local plastics fabrication company. There's one here in Seattle, I want to say its Tap Plastics, that will do small-scale runs for a reasonable price, often because what they're handing you is the cast-offs or bits from some larger order's design.

Go out to a store and buy as many Lego Mace Windus that you can find, and use their lightsaber pieces.

I've seen the fabrication companies but it either is really inconvenient or they ask for an order of $100 which is waay more than what I need...

I've googled it quite a few times and read 2-3 threads here on Dakka about it. Try to search "Necron purple rods" and you'll find a few things out there if you dig through the threads. Best I came up with was a blue that you could possibly go over with nail polish to use as color. There didn't appear to be any rods in 3/32 (or 2/32) that were purple.

Yeah, I read all of those first but I'm just seeing if anyone in Canada has found any as it would be the easiest way to obtain them.

The thing is I still want them to be transparent, so I might have to go get red rods and cover them with blue wash which is kind of a hassle...

You might also want to look into a bar/restaurant supply store. I know that some nightclubs like to get fancy with their drink straws/stirrers in blacklight or whatever, you might be able to find something that will make the grade.
