I've been playing the DoW games ever since the first one. From then on I've been hooked by the Universe, war, and struggle of humanity in the far future. I've collected books mostly of the Horus Heresy, but also of the 40k current timeline. I'm a big reader of Lexicanum and I love reading the history. Im wanting to learn the table top game but i need time and money. If all goes well i will be starting my first army later this year. My biggest interest right now is discussing fluff and the future of fluff for 40K.

Welcome to Dakka and congrats on joining the hobby. I would recommend you look into what a playable list looks like in 6th now, and not just get what you think looks cool like I did. They're fun to paint but I wasn't thinking when I started out. Good luck to ya!
