ok so this is just a basic question really... with the imperial armor books. whats the difference between imperial armor apocalypse 2 AND imperial armor apocalypse second edition....

is one a replacement for the other? whats the story there? is 1 a supplement to the first with just MORE information?

Imperial Armour Apocalypse 2nd Edition updates models from both IA:Apocalypse 1. It replaces that book.
