Hey mate here are my suggestion from my long wolf experience
1. Njal is very expensive better get two regular runepriests (one with LL/Jaws for the fron lines, one with divination in the back with long fangs)
2. Wolf Lord : if you wont go the mount, RA, SS/ TH, SOB, dont take one doesnt worth it
3.Dreadnought is not that good for its points but if you ever take one make it a close range killer or a Heavy support gun platform.
Dont mix weapons such as AC and ML, take AC/ HF or MM/ HF in a pod or TLLC/ ML for long range support.
4.As for the wolfguard i prefer to keep them cheep give them a pod and dakka the opponent.
The power axes and power swords come free with terminator armor so no wolf claws, if you ever use a wolf claw make one with wolf claw and PF +1 attack and options between ap2 or ap3 attacks. I agree with AC i dont agree with melta bombs. better give them combi weapons thats what makes WG a great unit. I ususally run this dakka squad in a pod.
1 WG with TDA, CombiWeapon
1 WG with TDA, CombiWeapon
1 WG with TDA, AC
1 WG with TDA, SS/Power Axe cause TH/ SS is expensive for one wound unit
2 WG Power armor, combiweapons
5. Better use mark of the wulfen in GH squads and no extra power weapon, also consider drop pods over rhinos or a mix of the , also i prefer lots of plasma and maybe a melta unit of GH.
Also you got 3 troop choices, you need at least four in 2000 points.
6. As for long fangs avoid using HB or plasma cannons, Stick with ML and one or two lascannnons in its squad
Thats all, good luck mate, i hope i ve helped you

Lone wolf - dont put them in power armor try this build
Lone Wolf, Terminator Armor, Chainfist, Storm Shield - 85
surviveable and tough as nails!
Echo the above hunter squad, go double plasma on 2 squads and double melta on the 3rd.
Long fangs - taking a power weapon on the pack leader is a waste if your fangs are getting engaged in combat you are doing something wrong, and if they do one power weapon wont save them
What is your plan with the wolf guard? Just walk accross the board in terminator armour? Get them a drop pod or a LR otherwise leave them at home

Thanks for the feedback guys, Im gonna make some adjustments. For one ill swap the GH squad with flamers to plasmas and probably swap njal for 2 priests. I dont even haveba dread yet and after the feedback Im not sure ill bother buying one.
I know ML longfangs are basically the best but as of now I only have enough bits for two. Are HB that bad?
I can definitely get a Lone Wolf into Termy armor and should have the bits i need.
My plan with the WG is to stick each one into GH packs and maybe 1 with a LF pack. Is this a bad idea? I have 10 termies tl use but I am honestly not sure where.

The thing I hate about the Hammer and Shield combo on a Wolf Guard Terminator is that he's 63 points as opposed to Vanilla Marines who's same load out is only 40 points.
Don't believe the naysayers. Heavy Bolters have their uses. They're really good at pounding Eldar infantry, gants, and Orks. But otherwise, Missile Launchers are better all around; it's just the unfortunate shortage of them that hurts.
Also, don't listen to anyone who's telling you to bring a Storm Shield on your Lone Wolf. Terminator Armor should be more than enough. The idea is to get him killed while bringing something big down with him. You're going to feel really stupid about that shield if he survives that hard fought PTA game giving your opponent an extra victory point that ultimately cost you the game.
As for Wulfen or Power Weapon, it's all up to you. You want an assured AP3/2? Do the Power. If you want extra weapons with a small chance to rend, do Wulfen. I haven't gotten a single rending roll yet with my Wulfen dudes though.

@Turock
As far as the army list goes, I would basically repeat exactly what @Helia and @Lonewolf81 said. But since you're new to the game, let me give you this golden piece of advice that will save you a King's Ransom in real money...
You're going to change your list around often. If you get into this game, you will want to experiment with different lists - you just will. With that in mind, you should plan ahead as you purchase and assemble your mini's in order to make your list AS FLEXIBLE AS POSSIBLE. What do I mean by that?
For example, if you want to play the Wolf Lord Terminator - that's fine. But assemble him in a way that you can play him as a lone wolf instead. Build him with wargear combinations that will play well in both situations. That is, one day that model will be a wolf lord and the next day he'll be a lone wolf. That way, you can play different army lists without having to buy an extra box of terminators.
For your wolf guard, you will probably want to change their wargear around from game to game. For example, on Monday you want them all to have wolf claws and combi-weapons, but on Tuesday they'll have power swords and storm bolters. The trick is a finding a way to configure your models with the correct gear without also spending too much money. I recommend magnetizing the arms on your wolf guard models and characters - it's not as hard as it sounds and will save you loads of time and money later.
Try it on your Dreadnought first (it's easier). You can magnetize four different arms that come in a single dreadnought box. That way, you can decide if you want your DNought to have an Assault Cannon and Power Claw one day, and the next day have a Twin Linked Lascannon and a Missile Launcher. Same goes for the Rhinos. You should NEVER buy a Rhino kit. Always always always get a razorback or a predator kit. Then when you build the model, don't glue the top on - magenetize it - so that it can be either a Rhino OR a Razorback / Predator. One kit = Two Options = WIN.
EDIT : I'm pretty sure you can get great tutorials on how to magnetize space marines and dreadnoughts on youtube.
One more thing...The stock box of Space Wolves is a very versitile model kit. It has enough stuff to make 10 Grey Hunters or 10 Blood Claws or 10 Wolf Guard in power armor or any combination there-of. I've even used the bits to make lone wolves, rune priests, wolf priests, wolf lords and battle leaders. So when you start to build your army, start by building the grey hunters first. That way you'll be very familiar with all of the parts in that box by the time you start with your HQ and Elites choices.

What will the lone wolf acheive if he gets shot in the face by plasma or a lascannon on his way in, thats why you take the shield
