Hey guys another list I have been brewing here. I am going for competitive and came up with this...
HQ
D. Lord
weave, mss, orb
InQ Term
Hammer, Psycannon
Divination
Troop
10 Gaussmortals
NS
10 Gaussmortals
NS
10 Strikes
2 Psycannon
Psybolt
10 Strikes
2 Psycannon
Psybolt
Heavy
A. Barge
A. Barge
A. Barge
DreadKnight
Heavy Incinerator
ADL
Quad Gun
So basic idea is 20 strikes + Barges + DreadKnight behind ADL. Night Scythes drop in 20 Immortals and D. Lord into midfield ideally. 1 immortal squad will get Preferred Enemy on drop and then the D. Lord will go and kill things.
It comes out to -
44 str. 7 shots not counting Tesla (most are twin-linked or prescienced)
52 str. 5 shots not counting rapid fire (again presience or preferred enemy shots)
In addition we have two monstrous creatures. Dreadknight's torrent flamer is additional anti horde power.
40 Meq bodies, depending on mission I can combat squad a strike squad to get 5 troop units.
Overall I think the list is pretty solid, thoughts?

Haha, I actually think this is quite strong, you have taken solid options from both books and combined. I guess the best way to find out is play test with it.
If anything I would make the immortals tesla, or 1 squad of each but that's my personal preference. .
Probably dont need the quad gun, maybe drop it and something else to get a teleporter on the dreadknight

Good point about the Quad Gun, I could drop the rez orb and quad gun and get a Personal Teleporter. I will give that a try.

Good list.
I agree with previous poster about the Quadgun, I don't think you much need it honestly. I also think you should save the points on the DK, the teleporter just makes him far too pricey. Take Tesla on the immortals (I like the Tesla way more and ideally you don't want those immortals too close to enemies who are decent in CC, which includes most marine types, nids, daemons, etc). I personally would consider a regular Overlord with a Scythe/Weave/Orb over the DLord so that you can grab two Voltaic Staffs, one for each squad, thus giving you some nice anti-armor on the drop, or an extra 4 Str5 shots vs infantry. Ohh and Coteaz over the Inquisitor. ML2 and some of the bonus abilities are, IMO, too good to pass up. I'd just worry a little about Heldrakes.

Can a destroyer lord ride in a Night Scythe? I though that as he was Jump Infantry that there was some restriction against that, though I do not know necrons well so I may be missing something.
If you can afford it, Psybolt Ammo would be good on your Strike Squads. S5 is nice as you can glace AV11 with it (the most common AV in the game I think)

Both Strike Squads do have psybolt but I forgot to post it.
I see a lot of people taking Coteaz, but is he better than another psycannon? I would get an extra psychic power, rerolling seize (which is good), and the I have been expecting you.
Warp Quake would mean no one would actually get close enough anyway for me to use his IHBEY power. Basically it is an extra power or a Psycannon. I think the Psycannon is better isn't it?
D. Lord in a Night Scythe is just fine.
I thought about haywire teks but I don't really see any AV14 in my LGS so I think the extra Monstrous Creature plus PE on an immortal squad is a better buy.
So I think I will drop the quad gun and maybe add a comms relay? That will hopefully gaurentee turn 2 both NS come in, or if I plan on deep striking any strike squads. Adding the comms opens up 30 points, Great Sword on the Dreadknight? Tachyon Arrow on D. Lord? Find a few points for a Gatling Psilencer for even more anti horde?
