Hey,
im pretty new to the whole hobby and therefore don´t have an own codex yet but i got quite a few questions about doctrines.
Tbh i dont really know a lot about ig doctrines and couldn´t find them in the codex when i was browing one at my local store but could you give me a short run-down which are generally usefull and which aren´t? I was thinking about using some of them to beef up my rather small army i can not afford to expand right now.
tia,
tom

They don't exist anymore, so no need to worry about them.

Well, there are still the three doctrines for Veterans on p98 in the codex. Forward sentries can be quite nice to get a better cover save, but also situational and expensive.

It is a beautiful thing when you have a vet squad with Sgt. Harker and Forward Sentries. Just get that squad into any sort of cover and being able to go to ground for a 2+ save. Seeing an opponent’s face the first time you do that is priceless.

BAO 2015 : Best Space Wolves.

The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.
