Interesting list - I haven't fielded a libby dreadnought yet, but it might work in this list - keeping up with the assault marines and providing support.

I would put wings (of course) and shield on the Lib-naught and swap out for Divination on the libby. Prescience is just so good, as is the 4++, which you could cast on the libby dreadnought to try to keep it alive.

take divination. Most of the powers are useful especially the primaris. Maybe make one squad all melta and one all flamer. Dont combat squads them. Besides that i think its a good start for 750 and with those models as a core you can really expand out nicely.

What you you recommend I add to reach 1000pts?

I think you have core and now you need to figure at a direction to go. I am pretty much a fluff guy so i have been to trying to develop my own theme.

What will always be good though is a predator (magnetize all the weapons and turrets, very easy) or a 10-man devastator squad with 2 ml and 2 plasma or just 4 ml.

EIther one is a solid choice i feel to bump up to 750 and will add heavy weapons which you are lack.

You can grab the devastator box and 5 AoBR tact marines from ebay on the cheap too.

ALso i like have 5 scouts with 4 snipers and 1 ml

Or you can go the the land speeder and attak bike route. A bike squadron is always good to have as it it mobile and have some good weapons.

I was thinking either land speeders or a stormraven.
If so, what loadout? I heard double heavy flamer landspeeders can be quite a good distruption unit, either that or with MM and missiles.
I don't really want to go for devastators as my 'theme' is mobility I guess; I have an affinity for flying stuff I guess.

IMO the Multi-Melta/Heavy Flamer set-up is more useful than double heavy flamers, as you can engage vehicles as well as infantry - it's always satisfying to blow up a 275pt Land Raider with a 70pt Speeder, just don't expect them to live long . I'm personally fond of Typhoons (Typhoon ML and Heavy Bolter) for mobile long range support as well.

A BA StormRaven loaded up with Death Company or Assault Terminators is pretty awesome too, but you obviously make them a massive target and run the risk of losing 400+pts to a lucky lascannon shot.

As far as Libby powers go, i find Divination hard to ignore. The Primaris power allows you to re-roll to-hits (shooting and assault i believe) and theres some other gems like giving a 4+ inv to the squad he is with (10 DC with a 4+ Inv is terrifying)

To bump it up to 1000
You should fill thos Assualt squads first,
Troops win games

Then a standerd preditor could go well or BAAL Pred to move up with your squads

How about 2 HF and MM landspeeders and 5 scouts with camo cloaks, a missile launcher and melta bombs on the 2 Assault squad sgts?

That would be nice. However, instead of m-bombs on the Sergeants, I would switch out the Lightning Claw for a Power Fist. The are generally better in challenges. You would need to find 10 more points to get the power fists, but it should be worth it.

Nice opening list.

If you take a Stormraven now, you will know quickly what your opponents will bring to counter it. Don't forget an SM skysplitter cannon is rumored to be coming, which is most likely an anti air beast.

Assault squads, I do this:
Add 5 Assault marines (each 5 are a new squad) for every 250 point new block. In each block also add 1 Assault Marine to each previous squad until each squad maxes out. This will cause your opponents to get used to killing each squad at a certain size and mis-anticipate the gradual, sublime increase in numbers. Since your opponents are likely to add their own 250 pt blocks in full squads rather than little influxes you will have some degree of superior target selection through your many smaller units. A backup trick is to then assault enemy targets in waves, 1 of your squads per turn rather than a single multi charge. This has worked well for me with Eldar Guardians in the distant past, has not been fully tested with Marines.

If you take armor, take a dedicated flanking batch of tanks, speeders, stormtalons & bikes, & screen with more bikes or fast skirmishers. Remember skirmishers can get in the face of an immediate target and tanks can saturation shoot somewhere else unpredictably to your opponent..

Forgeworld Deathstorm drop pods, 75 pts each with missile launchers, can assist your assault teams but watch out because if 2 Deathstorms deploy too close to each other they may scatter blast and hit one another.
