And yes, that's a flickering tea light on the base.

I like how you have covered the flight stand, but I would love to see a wreck down there to generate the smoke.

Great paint job though, these look sharp, they seem familiar but I am not sure why!

Great models; the smoke and fire are a good idea, and you've pulled it off well, I think.

It would be cool if the smoke was getting sucked up/ swirled out the jet engines. Looks awesome.

Is there plastic in the canopy? Because honestly, it's so clear that it's hard for me to tell. That alone is amazing, because I've honestly never been able to get such clear plastic in my life.

Thanks. Yes, the clear plastic is in there. Just used the tried and true trick coating the clear plastic with slightly watered down Future floor polish.
It takes out minor scratches like magic. I also take great care gluing it down so the glue doesn't fog the plastic.

Good suggestion. I'll go through my possibilities box and see what I can come up with.

This would be the best thing ever. I'm tempted to steal this idea for when I make some Ork fliers.

The Seraphs of Thunder: a homebrew, almost entirely converted successor Deathwing. And also some Orks. And whatever else I have lying around.
