Well none of the people i play use mechs at all. Also im running 3 tervigons in my 2k list to smash vehicles to death, also with 3 pyschic powers each, im asking about general advice for an all comers list.
I like the HG and their ability to shoot however i feel like for my list, which uses HC, as turn 2 in which the any combination of these 3 5 Ygmarl, 3 zoan in a pod, and doom in a pod, coudl cause a serious threat to most lists and provide a turn free turn of movement up the board for my backbone of 3 tervgisons because if those aforementioned units are allowed to run free they can eat things, Zoan ability to psychic shriek, Ygmarl ability to win lots of CC and sweeping advance, and just the doom being a beast.
The only disadvantage i see is that last night i seriously run the risk of rolling 1's and not getting any refinrocements. turn 2 i rolled 2 ones, and turn 3 i rolled another 1. But i think i like the thought of being aggresive and forcing a response more then i like hoping the HG wont be a priority for mech lists.
