I am being honest when i say i know very little about the DE codex which is why im hoping to get some help.

My friend plays DE and he uses venoms and raiders/ravagers but my question pertains to their BS skill after moving.
As long as the model pivots it can fire all weapons at full bs?
If it moves at all from the base point of which is started it is said to be moving at crusing speed, so only 1 full bs but all other shots as snap shots.
And if he moves his flat out or any distance above 6 inches all shots become snap shots correct?
Im just not sure if there is something in the codex that overrides this is all.

Thanks to anyone who helps out.

Out of my Mind

Played a DE player last night where this came up, as I thought it odd that the vehicle moved Cruising speed, and he could only snap fire (remembering how it was in earlier editions). Lucky for me he knew his rules and I didn't, so I asked.

The answer is hidden at the end of the 'Fire Points' portion on p.78.
Combat Speed: Transported unit counts as moving.
Cruising Speed: Snap Shots
Flat Out/Smoke Launchers: Can't shoot.

Edit: Unless you're talking about the vehicle itself... Answer's pointed out below /derp

I'm fairly sure Venoms, Raiders and Ravagers are all Fast Vehicles (Page 83 BRB), which means they can fire more weapons at full balistic skill when on the move (All weapons at up to 6", 2 weapons 6"-12"). A vehicle that moves Flat Out (which is done in the shooting phase like running with infantry) cannot fire at all (no snap-shots).

Ravagers also have a special rule allowing all the weapons at full BS but I'm not sure on the wording on it.

To OP - are you tlaking about the vehicle or embarked models?

Embarked models may only fire snapshots if the vehicle moves cruising speed

As a fast skimmer Venoms, Ravagers, Raiders et al all get to fire more than a normal vehicle when moving. This is clearly explained int he rulebook, BRB page 426 summary table has it as well

Ravagers have the 'Ariel Assault' rule that allows them to fire all their weapons at full BS even when moving at cruising speed. (Check latest DE FAQ for reference).
