I'm starting a Warhammer club at a nearby secondary school, and was wondering if dakka had any good ideas to help me.

I'm not sure about at a school, but when I started my club, I already had 2-3 other folks who I had been gaming with and who were interested in making a club.

Then I used Meetup, notes at online forums and flyers at my local FLGS to promote the club. Once you get started, having a blog is another way to get yourself out there.

It also helps to have a name that tells a bit about where you are. Also, define early on, the goal of the club, membership, etc.

Of course you first have to have a place to play...
