I'm playing in a doubles tourney in a week or two, and my partner is playing a backfield IG list; namely, lots of long-range heavy support. I, as the Ork player, have been tasked with being the one to swoop into the breach. I've never played a speed freek list, but here's my best attempt at it thus far:
[EDIT: clarified Troops choices]
HQ
Wazdakka Gutsmek

Troops
11 Boyz, Nob w/PK, Trukk w/Red and Ram
10 Boys, Nob w/PK, Trukk w/red and ram
11 Boyz, Nob w/pk, trukk w/red and ram
5 Warbikers, Nob w/pk
4 Warbikers, Nob w/PK

Fast
15 Stormboyz, Zagstruk

Basically run the bikes in front of the trukks to soften up positions, and either deepstrike Zagstruk, or have him lurk behind a truck and then leapfrog it to aid in an assault.

All C&C Welcome, please. Also keep in mind: I'm taking the assault role in this team: any major armor or mobs are handled by my ally/partner.

Orks are Warhammer 40K: Hard Mode. We don't play to win, or for turf, or to show off flashy new models.

We're here to fight.

At this point level you will be doing more for your side with target saturation. Your HQ is 'spensive! Warbiker lists seem to do better at higher point levels. Stormboyz seem all the rage right now and I just don't get it. And forget the RPJ. Total waste of points. IMO

The way I'd work it:
HQ:
BM w/KFF

Troops:
18 Boyz, Nob w/PK BP
19 Boyz, Nob w/PK BP
11 Boyz, Nob w/PK BP, Truk w/Ram
11 Boyz, Nob w/PK BP, Truk w/Ram
11 Boyz, Nob w/PK BP, Truk w/Ram

Heavy:
Battle Wagon w/BS DeffRolla
Battle Wagon w/BS DeffRolla

Now that would be teriffying with an IG parking lot guarding your backfield. Plus you have more points to play with, I think.

well you need more boyz if your taking the assult roll ...

I would load up 3 or 4 trucks with Slugga boyz
and a battelwagon with Burna boyz
and sure take the stormboyz

'\' ~9000pts
'' ~1500
"" ~3000
"" ~2500

@doktor_g:
I hear yah there. Very expensive. But I like the mobile repairs, the scary gun, and bikers as troops. This list is more of a "thought experiment". Sadly, I only have one Battlewagon, and my lady promised me broken fingers if I buy another any time soon. My teammate is gonna be lurking a garage in the back, but he's also taking a couple chimeras with vets to hold positions. I'm playing the glass cannon in this game, I believe. But Im glad your suggested list lines up with my other, more serious one.
