hey whats up fellow wargamers. i dont play tyranids, none of my friends do, its not a commission i just woke up one day and felt like i needed to paint a carnifex. my favorite part about the tyranids was the bug feel but since the carnifex had hooves I felt that interfered with the bugishness. or something. so viola! a four legged fex. I also wanted to get across a feel not so much of a path of destruction but more of a hulking beast patrolling a dead city, so let me know how i did! i haven't quite decided what head to use yet so feedback would be nice. I'm also open to ideas of how to attach him to the base, its kinda worrying me. but anyways. on with the pictures!
aaah! your right its now just some freak of nature. not that tyranids aren't already freaks of nature. I should also be able to start painting sometime over the weekend.
sorry folks I actually did some painting on the weekend but got caught up with school and never got around to posting any of it. I thought yesterday would've been ample opportunity because i took a sick day but i was bedridden the whole day and it got so bad I had to go to the hospital. but anyways, I'm still alive, and here's and update!
the base nearly done, i just have to finish the sac hanging from the lamp post
and staying true to the nature of any hobbyist i intended to finish the base before starting the carnifex but couldn't resist and so i painted the head
(i just need to finish the plates on top of his head as they are just base coated right now, along with some touch ups)
