So the tittle may be a bit of an exaggeration, but does anyone run a lss in their lists? what points level? What load out on scouts? how do you use it?

I have intentions of using one with heavy flamer, scouts with bolters+ heavy bolter, and combi melta + melta bombs on the sarge. I figure to use it as a gun boat. Moving 6" and firing all bolters+heavy bolter. or as an outflanking harass unit.. Contesting objectives, clearing some hordes, or getting lucky with some side/rear armor.

Also considered using teleport homer on sarge.. With scout move on lss to deploy the squad in the perfect place for a turn 2 deep strike.

I really love this unit even though it is lack luster at best. I just finished painting this squad and i think it brings so much character to an army.

The scout HB fires a template and thus cannot be snapfired,so if you move you can't fire it.
You would be better off with a ML so you can snapfire krak missiles.
As for running one, i havent yey assembled mine but the scout loadout that i have in mind is pretty similar to yours,exept for the HB of course.

isn't firing the small blast optional? I was under the impression one could choose between firing heavy3 OR heavy1 blast+poison
