Changing Our Legion's Name

Anyone have any tips on how to repose miniatures? i had a really cool idea where i would take zhufor and repose him to be standing on the body of some sort of enemy (havent figured which enemy out yet) with the axe raised above his head about to lop off the head of said enemy. also since the claw of demnos is basically a power claw, how should I repose his grip on the axe and will that look bad or be really hard? thanks everyone.

Isn't it a multi-part model? You should be able to altser his poses as you want, and since he's resin you can heat him under some warm tap water (not hot, warm) and slowly bend the piece for a more desired effect. You could also cut him up, pin his parts back together in the pose you want, and fill the gaps with GS.

yeah it is a multi part model, but like elbow joints and stuff. I didn't know about the hot water thing, it sounds promising i'll check it out. Also just like generally how to get it to look good afterwards.

Use WARM water, not hot or else he'll melt. And you don't want him melty, unless you're pleasing Papa Nurgle!

Doing serious reposing like this is where a razor saw (aka jewelers saw) comes in handy. If you make a neat cut with a razor saw at a joint it's amazing how much you can alter a model. I do a lot of reposes and razor saw + small metal file + pinning + greenstuff means you can do just about anything.
Changing the grip Zhufor has on his axe isn't too difficult. Simply cut the axe handle somewhere where it won't be that noticeable, make sure the cut surfaces are smooth, rotate the handle, and carefully glue it back together.

I have a dremel, will that work at all or should I stick with razors?

If you're cutting metal or plastic yes, but with resin it's much better to stick to your razor saw since the dremel will heat up the resin as it cuts through.

If the figure is metal then carefully bending should be enough.
resin as stated above
if your going to do some insane amount of repose then i would say, cut the joint re pose them with pins, glue, then green stuff over it but that takes much more work.
