Subject: Using 'epic' versions of casters in 35pt lists?

Is there a stipulation against using an epic version of a warcaster in a 35 pt game? or how about a 15 pt game? Are there any stipulations in regards to points at all?
I ask this because I'm kind of out of practice with WM/H and I mostly remember MK I where 'e' casters were allowable at 750pts and above.

No, there are no restrictions on any model in Warmachine Mk2. I could take a Colossal in a 15 point game if I wanted to.
An Epic version of a Warcaster/warlock is just representative of the story line advancing and the caster getting new skills and abilities.

I thought so. I wasn't sure since I haven't played in a while. Thanks.

And just so you know, many casters now have third versions. Sometimes called Legendary versions, but usually dependent on the particular caster. I called Intercessor Kreoss iKreoss. others call him Threoss, Krehorse, or other varients.
And no, there is no restriction on Legendary Warcasters either.

Legendary is a fandom term. Any version beyond the first of a named character is their Epic, regardless of which iteration it is. A common practice that PP uses in house and has started ot be used about is the Character Name#, such as Vyros2, Kreoss3, or Kaya1.
And stuff.

I'm just waiting for 4th iterations of warcasters, so I can watch fanboi heads explode as they try to come up with a new term.

'Legendary' actually came out as a term because it was rumored that 3rd iterations of casters would be coming out with the 'Legends' book during Mk 1. PP didn't release 3rd iteration casters then, but the name stuck, and was so hard for PP to shake that eventually they put a filter on their Forums, so people had to talk about 'legendairy' casters to get around it. Name and number is definitely easier, and correct, though it doesn't seem as stylish for some reason. Meanwhile Kr3oss and N3mo just make me want to inflict violence on whoever invented the terms.

The use of the community there is what I mean by fandom. It's fan jargon, but not in any way official or liked muchly by the devs.
And stuff.
