Lost in the Warp....

Hello, everybody I just have a question. Is it possible that when you purchase the digital codex from itunes, can you convert it to pdf, can it be viewed on a phone with a jellybean 4.1.1 operating system? I don't want to buy it on there and not be able to even use it. Thanks!

Doubtful, I haven't heard of anyone doing that before.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Depends on your morals. If you have legitimately bought the codex, I know I wouldn't feel too bad about torrenting a PDF copy to use on my other devices. Alternatively, you could screen grab each page (home button and lock button together) and assemble your own PDF. Pretty sure the latter option would be within the realms of fair use (format shifting for your own use). The former would definitely be illegal.

Edit: To be clear you need an iOS device to read an iBook bought from iTunes. I'm pretty sure you can't even read em on the computer, so if you don't have an iOS device, don't buy the codex digitally.
