before you start apologising?

Had a game vs Aleph and the although the week before I'd been troused by the same guy I was more prepared this week! And by joe did it pay! By the end of the third turn my Critical hits must of been in double figures and it wasn't long after that they were skulking back to their mess halls!

I did start apologising but the smile on my face probably didnt add to the sincerity!

Lol for newer players it's a bit disheartening, but for people that have played a lot of games we just laugh about it lol. Being a dice game it will happen with any system, but once I get like 3 vital kill crits I usually start playing overly aggressive to either A) end the match fast and B) lose some guys on my side to make them feel better.

I apologize if the majority of my kills are crit-kills - even when its a superior model doing it (like an infiltrating, camo heavy with an HMG). It just feels like I'm cheating them out of the chance to fight back!

...not to mention how anti-climactic it is when their guys drop without even having the semblance of being able to fight back.

My buddy routinely gets 4 crits a game on me! Not fun sometimes.

I often run lists with lots of the basic troops for amusement and that means I reply on criticals against better troops who are camo'd up etc, but with weight of numbers it can go either way - although it's often means all my guys are dead as I didn't manage to roll enough 1's!!! Sometimes however it's funny when their super elite 60+ point guys gets wiped by a bunch of 10 point grunts
