For the old one, it was also easy to remove/cover up/not glue on the Blood Bowl bits, making it more practical/flexible for other purposes. (From memory, I removed the branches with the sprite on and helmet hanging from it, simply didn't add the thorny face protector, and covered up some trophy hidden in the hollow trunk.) The new one would require some more sculpting work (none of the non-tree bits appear optional based on the sprues), although admittedly bark isn't the worst texture to roughly sculpt.

(New one is confirmed to be plastic by the way.)

And now that I'm finally allowed on the webstore, I notice the new one is also €34, versus €25 for the previous one. That's quite a difference for minis that are so similar that at first I wasn't even sure if it was an add-on sprue instead of a fully new sculpt, but then noticed that its pose was mirrored from the older sculpt.

Wood Elves? That's pretty random. I'd think they would do one of their more recent teams, like Vampires or Gnomes.

Very happy with this redux of Chaos Dwarves. The team as a whole looks great and cohesive. Like the additional new positions so that it's a bit different from previous and there's more choices involved.

Not too impressed with the bull centaurs being FW resin but I always wondered if that's how they would go with them. To include 2 in a plastic box might of been too much to hope for but they are fine looking.

Rules changes too with iron hard skin and losing tackle on the dwarves.

I still remember getting rofl stomped by my friends Chaos Dwarves Team back in the day so maybe this time around I might join them.

Really happy to see Chorfs back, especially with the Big Hats on the Blockers.

Not overly keen on the Flamesmith sculpts - or at least the images of them in the article - but I'm holding fire on final judgement until I see them in person.

No issues with the Bull Centaurs being resin for me - they're a Big Guy that, to date, have only been available for one team. The ones that have made it to plastic so far have been ones that can be used for multiple teams, which I suspect makes paying for a plastic mold more viable.

Wow, the Chaos Dwarfs look neat! I am tempted to pick them up just to use as ideas for AoS and TOW Chaos Dwarf models.

Yes. It will change a number of players I think, especially if it's a flat rule across everything. Big guys with iron hard skin?

For me it's a slight problem lol I've had this custom theme team idea for some time but it includes a big guy with iron hard skin. Friends understand the theme but all said don't do it man that mutation is bad, it's a waste. Now I guess if I go ahead I'll be seen as some power gamer lol. At least people knew I had the idea for some time already I guess.

Will be interesting to see if any other rule changes are coming too.

That new reveal makes me very happy! ^_^ No surprises what their collegiate alliance will be in Dungeon Bowl (not that there ever was) - I hope their pitch is cool.

Dang, those chorfs look good! I think they did a nice job of keeping to the initial concepts while modernising them.

I don't really follow GW's release schedules. Now that chorfs have been revealed, is there an estimate on when we might see pre-orders go up?

Within the next three months. Saying that though, they were the first things on the stream, all of the other systems previewed got roadmaps stretching into next year, and three months from now is the Christmas hiatus so I would probably expect sooner than later.

What rule change to Iron hard skin? Last year's FAQ?

In the interview they said that when the Chorf team is released there will be an update to IHS that makes it prevent all armour modifications, not just Claws.

Thanks! Would be excellent opportunity with the last FAQ, but perhaps the next.
