Scoring is as follows:

Tactical Scoring

Tactical scoring will be based on Victory Points accrued during each of the battles played. There is a maximum of 30 Tactical points per round, 5-25 based on the Victory Points scored during the game and an additional 5 "bonus" points. The "bonus" points will be based on each scenario and will be detailed there.

25pts - Massacre - Defeat opponents by 1500+ Victory Points
20pts - Victory - Defeat opponents by 1001-1500 Victory Points
15pts - Marginal - Defeat opponents by 500-1000 Victory Points
10pts - Draw - Difference in Victory Points is less than 500 points
5pts - Loss

Sportsmanship Scoring
Sportsmanship will be judged by the checklist after each round:
1pt - Did your opponent share their army list with you before the game?
1pt - Did your opponent come prepared to play and bring all required items to play (dice, templates, rulers, rulebooks, codices, pens, calculators, etc.).
1pt - Was your opponent consistent about game procedures, such as re-rolling Gene Simmonsed dice or picking up failed dice rolls instead of successes?
1pt - Did your opponent appear to measure movement and assault distances accurately?
3pts - Did your opponent show up on time and put forward a good faith effort to play at a timely pace and complete the game in the allotted time?
1pt - Were rules issues, that may have arisen during the game, handled amicably by your opponent?
1pt - Was your opponent's army easy to understand with clear conversions or completely WYSWIG?
1pt - Would you voluntarily play this person again?

This allows for a total of 30 possible points for sportsmanship.

Painting Scoring
Painting will be scored as defined below:
10pts - Fully painted with at least three colors
5pts - Fully based (flock, sand, etc)
5pts - Army received both of the above
2pts - Conversion points (Army has either multiple simple conversions or a small amount of advanced conversions)
2pts - Details are painted (eyes, jewelry, belts)
2pts - Army has discernible highlights
2pts - Army has multiple highlights / washing / shading
2pts - Army is one of the top three judge's choice
1pt - Army has a full painted display base *Bonus*
2pts - Display base has a lot of detail / advanced painting or scene *Bonus*

For a total of 30 possible points(33 with bonus), with an army that is fully painted and based, regardless of the skill of said painting, receiving at least 20. Armies painted by other people are not
eligible for Best Painted but will not otherwise affect you. Scoring will be done during the lunch break.

 Overall scores will be calculated by combining all three scores but the Tactical score will be averaged.
 “Best Painting” will be determined by combining the Painting score and 1 point per vote. Each member of a team does not have to vote for the same army.
 “Best Sportsmanship” will be determined by the combined scores for the battles fought. Tie break will go to the lowest Tactical Score of the tied individuals.
