Just looking at making this list work.

Not really caring if people do or don't like LRs...lets just work with them.

Now I know Purifiers are expensive for the LRs...but they give the list the anti horde...and honestly they bring me back to the good ole days with everything Fearless and True Grit. Tried making the list with more strikers and no crowe...but it lacks the ability to control objectives.

Originally I was running a bunch of termies alongside the LRs but they were too slow and Deepstrike wasn't reliable. This way Mordrack can either reliable Deepstrike down or move forward with stealth.

Oh, and the strikers work for utility of warp quake or having themselves deepstrike.

Open to ideas though!

Personally, i feel that Gk units do not make good use of Land Raiders. GK units are not pure assault units, but rather a mix of shooting and Assault power. They work best on foot, shooting for several turns and then assaulting to mop up whatever is left.

If you try to use GK as either a "Pure Assault" or "Pure Shooting" unit you will be overpaying for them and not making the most of their abilities.




GK do have access to a "pure Assault" unit in their codex, and it is Henchmen.

4-5 Crusaders, 5-6 DCA, maybe add Character with Rad Grenades and either Hammerhand or Divination rerolls. (Xeno Inquisitor or Techmarine)

This unit cost far fewer points, and has for more assault power when it hits the enemies lines.
