how do, i know there has always beena bit of stigma surrounding imperial fists and a decent way to paint them. I have seen many different ways over the years and most of thm work pretty dam well. Having posted pictures of my own army i have been asked how i painted them. Well im currently sitting at my desk about to paint a couple of tanks to expand my army. Im gonna attempt my fost live update painting tutorial as the evening pans out......may not finish but we will see.

so here goes........

I converted a twinlinked heavy flamer razorback at the weekend. i always loved the look of the additional armour on the forge world website, but like most im anti spending money so i grabbed some plasti card and my bits biox and made my own. This has been grey primered but you can just as easily work from black

I think the armor looks great. Well done.

I'm even more impressed by the ability of the tank to hover.

The base colour was a mix of Khemri brown, graveyard earth and desert yellow.

I like to airbrush these first few layers on to buildup colour.

my music of choice is Alex Clare although having just brought the album i should have stuck with downloading too close.......ill move onto fort minor now me thinks

Base colour 2 - Desert yellow, again airbrushed on.

You will have to bare with me these first few steps seem pointless but they help build the depth of colour needed for a good yellow

This is the bast of the base coats - Desert yellow, sunburst yellow and a small amount of the original base mix (this just takes the edge off the sunburst.

The next step is two highlights, which are simply achieved by adding bleached bone to this final base mix.

Give me half an hour and ill have that done
