I'm not up to date with the latest WoC rules but it looks liek you'll struggle against magic heavy armies and you don't have many bodies in the field.

Don't like Khorne DP a Lord seems a better choice. The other tricksters shard on the DP is a bad idea as you have to reroll ward saves as well! Also no charmed shield seems like a good way of taking a cannon ball to the face.

BsB on a warshine seems a waste and again cannon bait.

Personally I wouldn't bother with shields on the warriors but that's personal taste.

Do the horsemen do more for you than a Khorne chariot would?

I prefer skullcrushers in bigger units. They don't have enough attacks )7 each compared to potentially 11 for mournfang) to break units with just 3 and 1 casualty can nullify too much of their combat effectiveness.

All Khorne just isn't going to be competitive though. Magic is too powerful and you don't even have magic res.

I'm in love with the demons, and now that de DP is interesting, i can not resist using, also, is very powerful, and tactically is more interesting than the Chaos Lord, flies, for only 360 points, is something dreamed for warriors of chaos.

the charmed shield is useful only against the firs impact, with time, the first impact will not be the cannon. A good player first used light weapons, or magic missiles... and i haven't magical protection

precisely, the BsB on a warshine is my bait, its function is to be an attractive target for enemy artillery, or at least more interesting that DP. Is a large miniature, I hope it's a good "duck fair". Also the warshine is important for avoid some results in the table of the gods eye.

the horsemen and the charriots makes different functions, i need I need riders functions, as ending enemy artillery. The mark of Khorne can be a problem, but it is an army theme, Khorne would not forgive me.

the warriors shield is really about aesthetics
