Copy and pasted from their Website. ** UPDATE 12TH FEBRUARY 2013 ** News from PSC HQ:- 2 new releases for February:- 1/72nd German Pak 38 anti tank gun: 4 guns and mid-late war crews in the kit for £12.95. Each gun sprue also gives the option to build a Pak 97/38 75mm (captured French 75mm barrels) and there are plenty of rounds, ammo cases and spent shells to customise your bases or dioramas. Each gun has 6 crew figures to allow those Battlegroup Kursk players to field extra loader teams. Released and shipping now from the webstore or the featured products section below. 1/72nd Late War US Infantry 1944-45: 57 figures including riflemen, command, signals, BARs, medics, casualties and snipers. Released on 21st February but available to pre-order now in the upcoming products section at the bottom of the homepage. March set for all things M3 and M5 Halftrack - 15mm first then 1/72nd soon after. Work continues on US Heavy Weapons and we have just started design work on the Stuart - both 15mm and 1/72nd. For all the 20mm or 1/72nd gamers and in particular all you discerning Battlegroup Kursk gamers out there, to coincide with the launch of the next Battlegroup book in the series in April, Battlegroup Overlord covering D Day and the Normandy/France campaign 1944, we will be releasing a 1/72nd Panther Ausf with zimmerit - don't say I don't look after you! Got some nice juicy surprises for 2013 - more in the next few weeks!! Best wishes Will Townshend I'm not seeing much 1/100 or 15mm in here, and I have not seen anything that has piqued my interest in a while, I had such hopes and it's far too slow. Sorry but I'm off to spend elsewhere, I simply cannot wait any longer for promised 15mm Artillery which was "on the cards" 2 years ago .

Agreed, i am tired of waiting on models from them.So i am going to be buying from QRF and BF for my Arty needs. But i would not mind buying a few of the GI Sharp shooters.,But i do not want to but the set.
But overall i think they are going towards 20mm models first for the Kursk game.

No 15mm tanks?
I guess I'm doubly dissapointed because I asked for more soviet tank kits and he released T-70s. Nothing wrong with that but there are no decent lists for FoW with T-70s in them. Battlefront need to sort that out pronto, so I can buy a ton of them. I may have to ease the pain in the meantime with a bunch of Zvesda Matilda 2s for my mid/late war Soviets. A mate of mine bought a case of Zvesda Matilda 2s and now runs two companies of the buggers!

It's a shame no new tanks are on the horizon, but PSC has managed at least one new release a month consistently, which for such a small operation is still pretty damn good. Especially when you consider they are trying to cater for multiple scales.
Personally I'm really looking forward to the Half Tracks next month, which are finally going to make a Motor Rifle company affordable. After that please bring on the Cromwells!

I have been holding off completeing my Armoured Sqn specifically to get PSC Stuarts, which were announced months ago. Given that they are only just in the design stage now I will simply buy BF ones instead.
Given the glacially slow releases the same will probably be true with the artillery that I was also going to buy.

To me it just looks like he's erring more towards 1/72 scale. Maybe he's shifting more volume in that or something, or maybe because BF are looking like getting into 15mm Plastic he might be bowing out. This is speculation, but I've ordered that Guards Armoured Recce Boxed set for £108.

I think all that’s happening is that Will is giving the 1/72 market some love, after all the lion’s share of his releases have been for 15mm so it’s only fair the 1/72 guys get a few kits as well.
Bowing out of 15mm altogether would be madness. Right now it’s where the money is. Even if BF do get into plastics it will take them years to catch up with PSC in terms of the number of kits available and besides the general consensus is that the PSC plastics are superior to the Battlefront ones anyway (certainly in terms of vehicles).
In the last couple of months he’s given us the Tiger, T-70 and US Infantry in 15mm so he’s showing no signs of giving up on that scale and there are already more 15mm kits in the works.

Yea the thing to keep in mind is that they're still gunning for the 1/72 crowd
At least they arent making any more 28mm kits right?
Though I wonder how good their vehicle kits might have been in 28mm...

The fundamental problem is that you cannot upscale a 15mm Model to 1/72 and keep the Detail.
So the best way to do it, is to do the 1/72 scale kit first (high detail) then scale it down. That way there is no loss of detail, especially if you are working in CAD.
Exactly like in Photoshop, Better to take a Big Image and make it smaller, than say take a small image and the system attempts to upscale it by interpolating, losing crispness and detail.
So how long before he goes.....Lets just make the 1/72's it'll be simpler. He needs to make a 1/72 anyway if he wants a 1/100 scale one, so it makes sense to me, come what may he will make 1/72 because the 1/100 can drop out of it if he wants. It gives him flexibility. Plus 1/72 is good for historical painters, collectors and wargamers. 15mm is pretty much only for Wargamers.

Hmmmm...
Not gonna say too much as Will is a good mate of mine, but I would suggest bearing in mind that PSC is one man (though Anita helps with orders) and his release rate for plastic kits is pretty darn impressive. He compares well even to the likes of Warlord Games or the Perrys for releases.
The time, effort and cost involved in plastics is huge.
To give some idea of the time involved, I saw what was suppossed to be the 'final' renders for the PaK38 in September. My comments led to some re-working on the renders and then they went through more changes to get them into a workable sprue. Its a long and time intensive process. Its finally released in February... So given the usual issues in getting things to the release stage you are looking at around 4 to 6 months prep time.
That makes any planning always at the vagaries of how the renders shape up, people like me then making comments that result in changes and then the possibility of the machine moulds not always working out first time.
Plastic production is time and money intentsive.
Will is certainly commited to 15mm, as he is to 1/72, as the Battlegroup rules are made for both.

BigP is pretty much spot on here. I think that lots of people are indulging in some pretty farfetched speculation based on the fact that is going to be just one month without a 15mm release. Jan saw a pretty big one in the shape of the US Infantry and next month will see the Half Tracks. For a one man operation I think it’s a little short of a miracle that PSC releases as much 15mm stuff as it does.

I am concerned that many of the products promised for a long time aren't even on the short term release schedule. I've been very patient, and now I literally cannot wait any longer and will pay over the odds. To get what I need, to finish my forces. I wish him well, but with a product this well received by the community for such a long time, is now the victim of it's own success because from what I believe this isn't his Main job?
I would say he needs to make this his full-time job, there is money to made, but for me it's taking too long. He told me in March 2011 he was doing Artillery right then and it would be a few months off. 2 years later (24months!), still nothing. PSC is exactly that "Plastic Soldier Company", not "Plastic Soldier Man-in-a-shed-who-occassionally-does-stuff-but-cannot-devote-himself-to-it". If he was making these things by hand fine, but he isn't, this is small scale industrial level production, for the market place.
He isn't casting these in Resin and selling them via Ebay. He is ordering Zvesda stuff and selling that directly over the Internet too, He is basically a Manufacturer and Distributor. How long can you run an operation this complex, part-time, on your own, without burning yourself out, updating the Website, Importing his products, distributing his products, making new products, fulfilling individual orders, liaising with overseas producers? . If he doesn't take the business seriously it's never going to be a viable business and we will lose something that the Market actually wants..

Have you considered that he doesn't need/want to be a viable business and is only interested in making nice quality models for people to game or diorama with? That fact that it doesn't sit well in your idea of a company that perpetually releases products over a specified timescale may be more to do with your expectations rather than the realistic notion that yes, he is doing this more or less by himself, and yes, the production is never going to match up to big names but no, the price isn't a rip off and the products only seem to improve.
I wouldn't worry about him burning out, as you say. Without trying to sound pernicious, he only has himself to satisfy. We can either wait and buy, or go elsewhere, as is our right as a consumer. We can be sure Will will still be there.
I for one have never been a man for waiting for specific products; in 40k I will convert something if I want it, and if it is released, I will buy it, or not. As for FOW, the current available range dictates what I can and cannot use at a given time, and if I can save money (and bloody effort) by getting it from PSC, I will. If the alternative is shell out megabucks or use different units for the time being, well, guess which one yourself.
Edited for readability, probably

No hate here for PSC, just disappointment on the slow pace of releases.
I've been waiting for the 15mm Stuarts to build my armoured company since they were announced. Looks like I'll be waiting longer. Which is fine, since I have enough already to paint.
I have been very happy with my PCS vehicle purchases. I'm going all plastic for my armoured company (I hate metal or resin vehicles), so PCS and Zvesda are pretty much it for me.
It's a silly constraint I have placed on myself, so unlike mwnciboo, looks like I'm just waiting until whenever the Stuarts are released.

I have to say that I remember being shouted down on the BF forums when the Plastic T34's first got released and I said "You watch this take off".
People berated me and said "he'll only manage 2 releases a year if that" and "he'll never do anything obscure like BF"
Now take a look at what has been achieved by him since then, no really LOOK hard. I think what has been achieved is nothing short of amazing.............
If it means I don't have to give my money to BF (who I find distasteful at best) then I'm prepared to wait for these models, they are far better and cost alot less.

I for one am glad for PSC.
For little more than the cost of a platoon, I will get a USA Company.
Their priests will net me 5 for the cost of 2 once they come out.
And their quality it impressive, for the price I would expect second rate, it is far from that.
