Hey Dakka - Played this list last week and had a ton of fun with it. I played a 2v1 against Salamanders and IG.

Trying to tweek this list but will most likely not run it once BT get Stormravens on Saturday.

I plopped the EC and a Las/Plas Squad in the Icarus LC bunker and used the EC to intercept flyers while the Lascannon sniped from the fire points. I plopped the castallen in the other bunker with the krakstorm missiles to take advantage of his BS5 (in retrospect I should have not given him a LC and SS). Then put the other two intiate squads in the tower and walkway and just sat back and let the enemy come to me. I deep struck all of my Termi squads.

Turned out pretty good as tank hunters ruined the IG's day and made a mess of the Salamander Ironclads. Also rolling 20 PF attacks on the charge is really nasty.

What do you guys think? I know it is low on troops so I may try and get another squad in by dropping the AC dread.....

I was wondering if you tried taking advantage of blessed hull? BT are the only ones who still have it and i dont think people are runnign enough vehicle killers to deal with 3 landraiders being able to fire 2 weapons at full BS and AV 14. I cannot think of one list ive seen that can deal with 4 LR, 3 being HS or fast attack im not sure what they are, and one being a dedicated transport. What can necron flyer lists do 7 can;t get to 14 and they dont run much else in vechicle removal besides some wraiths, who cannot make it into combat turn 1 so even if they go 2nd you just hold the LR back and wait to get your DS units in.

I was wondering if you have tried anything like this as right now i only have tyranids but since everyone considers BT bad, because the codex is so out of date, i was thinking i might like to try them.
