Hi all

Just getting back into 40k after a long lay off and came across this forum a couple of weeks ago lots of interesting/inspiring stuff (especially the modeling board) so I thought I'd join up.

Started wargaming back in 83 and have been playing GW games (on and off) since WHFB 2nd edition and started 40K with 1st edition. I have, for my sins, worked for GW as a red shirt many years ago. Probably my favorite GW game was (the now sadly missed) ManO'war. Other than GW I enjoy most periods of historical wargames.

I recently got the 40K bug again and dug out my old 4th edition 40K books I had thought about upgrading to the latest edition but figured I will just stick to playing 4th edition as most likely I will only be playing at home with my son, I really enjoyed playing 4th edition and replacing all my codices with the latest versions would be to expensive.

I've just started on a new IG drop troop army using Defiance Games plastic marines (having picked up 72 of them cheaply) with head swaps ...photos to come
