Ok so i am aware that hammerhand stacks between a squad and an independant character. My question however is whether hammerhand is used once per squad, or can each individual member of a squad (5 man squad for arguments sake) roll for hammerhand? I am playing a match tonight with my Grey Knights against my friends Chaos Space Marines and neither of us is 100% on the use of Hammerhand. Being able to roll for it with each squad member does seem a little overpowered and i imagine probably isnt how its meant to be used, but if im wrong i would love to stack it 5 times and crush some heretics! xD

Also note that while none of the grey knight independant characters/psykers have brotherhood of psykers; but they do benefit from most anything the rest of any squad they happen to be in has manifested on themselves.

Thanks for both replys.

One other thing, a Grey Knight Interceptor squad is counted as "fast attack" can they move 12" per turn even though they do not have jump packs, or are they fast attack simply because of they can teleport shunt?

There is no support in the current rules for Hammerhand stacking with other castings of Hammerhand. Back in 5th edition, just before 6th came out, there was an FAQ that pointed out same powers could stack where previously same powers could not. Yet, 6th edition does not currently include that ruling. What does occur is that a squad with Brotherhood of Psykers can either activate their Nemesis Force Weapons on a single roll, or they can activate Hammerhand on a single roll. An attached Character with at least Psyker Mastery level 2 can cast Hammerhand for the entire squad in addition to the activation of their NFW. Hammerhand does have permission to stack with Might of Titan, however.

That said, I'll make no more mention in this thread.

There actually is support for Hammerhand stacking.
