this is what ive made what should i get rid of and what should i add. I am looking for a solid 1000 point list any help is welcome.

one lone obliterator is a waste of a slot. take 2 or skip entirely.

My recommendation is havocs anyway. pick a weapon, slap 4 of them in a squad, you can get them for as cheap as 115 for autocannons, or as expensive as 175 for flakk missile launchers. I'd recommend lascannons in general, but if you're going against a horde army, autocannons might be the better deal.

General comment: Your list doesn't look like it knows that it wants to do. Pick a direction and go for it. Atm you have a little bit of everything and its going to get taken apart.

Same comment as oblit applies to a lone Vindicator; he's goign to get targetted and blown out of the water before getting into 24" range for that beautiful cannon. Oh and please give him a dozer blade and combi-bolter to reduce the likelihood that a weapon destroyed makes a lovel 125pt tank shocker. Also consider demonic possession.

Your cultist loadout is illegal. Can't have 19 Autoguns AND 2 heavy stubbers unless you have 22 cultists. Also, 40 pts for MoN on the cultists is a big point sink imo.

Slap some VotLW on those CSM for the extra leadership.

Chaos lord point cost is incorrect. Don't know what VOL is but 70 pts is way too few for the lord with MON.

3 Bikes are also too few and can support 2 special weapons.

At 1k pts, look at dakka preds for good, cheap firepower, havocs (AC or las) and stock marines in rhinos.

i am thinking that the predators will sit back and shoot at enemy's tanks in their backfield. where the plague marines will secure objectives in the mid field. and the cultists will charge the enemy's front line in an attempt to tie up an enemy's gunline.

Some comments:

I consider plasma pistols a complete waste of points. How many times is a pistol fired in a game? Once, before you charge. Maybe twice, tops. doing maybe one or two extra wounds total over the course of the entire game is a waste of 15 points.

I would take the powerfists off the plague champions. What are the fists going to do? If you run into guardsmen, 2 S8 attacks is probably less helpful than 3 S4 attacks that re-roll to wound due to the knife. Against marines, it's a similar problem, never mind that most units that would attack you in CC can challenge him, and kill him before he swings. Paying 25 pts for something that *might* kill two marines isn't good, especially when the two plasma guns will kill far more for less.

Also, I don't think you need to swap out the autocannons on the preds for TL lascannons. The two lascannons on the sides are plenty, one more, no matter how accurate, isn't worth 25 pts.

What did those edits shave? 15 for the lord's PP, 75 for the powerfists, 50 from the lascannons. 140 pts. looky there. shave some cultists, and you can get a heldrake with an autocannon for adequate anti-air, or a baleflamer for lolsy murderfest- the plasmaguns have that mostly covered though.

so know that i have trimmed the fat sort of i have 60 point left over what should i spend the points
1)rhinos
2)aegis defense line and place the cultists but switch them to auto guns
3)or should i drop the cultists and get a heldrake with autocannons fro anti air

Heldrake all the way. People won't even be mad if you give it an autocannon, and it's a great anti-air choice that scales nicely for when you get to bigger lists.

edit: MoS on cultists is mostly pointless. If you're going for CC, go for unmarked, or splurge on MoK or Mon.

I would recommend buying your champs melta bombs.
