I saw this in a game I played today and really need a ruling on it. So a guy was playing orkz. He had WWazzdakka and Bikers, no Nob bikers. Well, in his WARBIKER mob he had a painboy. His argument was that he upgraded a boy to a Nob. Therefore, he was able to give it the painboy upgrade from the nobz squad, arguing since it is a nob, it gains the benefits........now I say this is completely wrong. But I would like to know the truth, so I don't end up playing against this same situaion.

Just because it gets upgraded to a Nob does not give it access to the Nobz entry, so your opponent was incorrect.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Yeah, by that logic a Space Marine in a Devastator Squad could take upgrades from the Tactical or Assault entries...

Options are only available from the one unit entry unless that entry specifies otherwise.
