Dude. If you want Thunder Hammers, the Command Squad box contains ONE. ONE THUNDER HAMMER.

It also contains one CML and 5 Storm Shields.

e.g. that box is going to be worthless to you if you want to build 5 TH/SS Termies and a CML. You're only going to be able to build one model out of that kit. $60 for one complete model.

Which still isn't cheap, but you can build 5 TH/SS models. The only thing you're missing is a Cyclone. So....off to the bitz stores you go.

This website has a CML for $5. With the CC Squad from Amazon and the CML from that site that's $50 before shipping, so with shipping that should run you just under what you'd pay for a Terminator Command Squad from GW at $60 for a box, but you'd be getting a CML and 5 TH/SS Termies as opposed to 1 CML with 1 TH/SS.

If you're going to do dakka you could buy 2 Command Squad boxes.

2 TH/SS and 2 CML on the same models.

The rest you could build storm bolter power fist. That would run you $120 if you used MSRP.

That would get you 5 TH/SS models, 2 Cyclone missile launchers, 2 Assault cannon Terminators, 2 Chainfist Terminators, 2 Powersword+SB Terminators, and 4 SB/PF Terminators.

You could thereby build 2 squads, with 1 TH/SS+Cyclone, 1 Chainfist+Storm Bolter, 1 Powersword+SB, and 2 SB/PF Terminators per squad.

That would leave you with 3 extra TH/SS models in case you wanted to build more squads, plus 2 extra Assault Cannon Terminators - or 5 extra Terminator models. You could build these extra assault terminators dual-LC if you wanted.

That would run you $87 for 15 models, but you would be A) buying them from different sources, and B) you would be getting less bits (no HF, Maces, Plasma Cannon, Banners, or Apothecary Terminator bits).
