... has some, imo, VERY sweet blood effects. OP mention in detail how he makes it, using "Tamiya Clear Red".
Does anybody know an European (preferably Danish) dealer selling this?
Or know of an alternative way of making a similar effect for blood?

Should be easy to pick up on ebay. SnM Stuff is a UK shop I've bought from in the past, they stock it.
Tamiya clear red works well for that, but freak flex or minitaire ghost tints would work too probably.

You could try adding gloss varnish to any red ink but the Tamiya stuff is very thick and pigment rich.
I would try getting this 1st before trying anything else.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!! |

Red ink and 'uhu' (all purpose glue) works reasonably too. More for stringy gore than blood though.

Tamiya should be sold in any shop that sells model tanks, ships, planes and such

Gunze Clear Red is almost identical as well - though it may not be easier to find. Humbrol Clear Red is comparable - though it isn't quite as pigment rich as Tamiya and Gunze, so you may need an additional coat or two to get the same effect. With Humbrol being a European line, it might be easier to find...though as people have said, you should be able to find Tamiya readily at model stores.
