Now i know the obvious tactic of putting orikan with a ''tan shard with worldscape and a few tremorteks thrown in for gd measure.

Was thinking of adding imotekh into the mix for a complete turn one shutdown. Add some deathmarks and a doomscythe to take adavange of orikans reinforcements rerolls and watch the frustrated face of your opponent.

apart from imotekh affecting range of the tremortek is this a half decent tactic?

Muhahaha usin opponents are ork and nids hordes and eldar. The hordes being the main reason im thinking of giving this a try.

Let's talk about 6x30 Ork Boys, because you can't get more hordy than this.

Imothek: 2.92 Ork Boys dead per shooting phase as long as it's night.

Worldscape in First Turn:
30 models will fail the test and 24 of them will die because they failed the save.

So for 610 points you killed 161.52 points of Orks.
For those points you could also take 3 Doomsday Arks.
They would kill much more Orks and wouldn't be a waste of points

It's a great combination, but in my opinion it's too expensive and I would never use them outside of Apocalypse-games.

I see your point.

is the tremortek and worldscape c'tan a worthy combo. Thinking along lines of slowing there advance down whilst knocking down there numbers.

Or should i just go with "big gun go boom, good night green skin"

Well, that might depend on what you play against.
The best information I could give is:
Math it out and form your own opinion

Or even better: When you have the models, try it!

Also do not forget that Imothek, C'Than and Orikan have other advantages too that I did not calculate.
