No. You should switch the Hunters to Plasma Guns instead. That'll be 15 points there. You've got the anti-tank covered with the Vindicators (and Thunderwolves). Plasmas are soooo good this edition. Then I'd take the last 5 points on something like switching the TWC's Power Fist out for a Thunder Hammer.

Cutting off overcosted cavalery, and using rest of points you can get 2x5gh melta droppod. It would give you more bodies in t1 aswell as some flexiblity to destroy some heavy tanks, or capture some alone points.
Olso vindicators are nice , but with pod wolves you want to be close on t1 (u want benefit from rapid fire), and then your opponent will most likely engage you so vindicators wont have any target.
U will need probably some other models too, if you want to be more flexible U can get some cheap models from starters, and use some bits from your boxes to make them look as spacewolves. Generally roster is nice, and only change i would suggest are plasmas on GH squads. Plasmas are rly good right now.

This is true but then that would make a squad down to one plasma and nine guys in the pod? Also the other two wouldn't have the buff xD.

I also thought that blessings have to be cast at the start of the movement phase. Can you disembark from a Pod and still do Prescience?

Yes I am not positive on that either??? So I will be testing out the three grey hunter squads with two plasmas each, and also giving the one thunder wolve a thunderhammer instead of a fist.

Hey that's the list I wrote!
I agree that Long Fangs are probably superior to the Vindicators, but Vindicators are fun. Three Vindicators scare people. They will hit really hard on turn one, pre-getting the Hunters stuck in CC. They kill the **** out of tanks, so that frees up the hunters to take plasma guns, thus making their threat radius increase drastically. With this setup, you can gun-line many armies to death, just drop podding straight onto objectives, without the need to get into CC offensively. The Thunderwolves can advance with the tanks and help the Grey Hunters hold objectives when scary CC monsters get near, or they can hunt down pretty much anything mid-field. They are also very fun. I know this list was to play against a friend, so for that, I think it's perfect. Would I bring it to a tournament? Probably not, but for casual play, this list seems great. it is pretty competitive as a good all-comers list, and it definately looks fun to play with.

Exactly what I needed to hear brother! Thank you for the help and input. I agree with what you thought to change and heck ill give the plasma guns another try xP haha. Thank you! Automatically Appended Next Post: I do have one last question I would like some input on, my wolf lord is geared up to be a cc monster I think. Now picking his weapon, would a power fist or a frost blade be better? I would either be rending s10 ap2 at init1 or s6 ap3 init 5

Keep in mind that if you replace his standard CC weapon on the Thunderwolf, he loses the Rending rule. Of course at S10 AP2, you don't need rending.

The Wolf Lord should NOT take a frost blade. He should either take a Power Fist if you want S10 or a Wolf Claw if you want Initiative 5. The wolf claw has a better chance to wound than a frost blade and costs 5 points less. The Power Fist has S10 AP2 at Init 1 while the Frost Axe only has S7 AP2 at Init 1 and costs the same.
I see a couple of potential problems with this list.
First, there is the possibility of hitting your own guys with the S10 pie plates of doom. Since you're going to be dropping your grey hunters down right next to the enemy, if your Vindicators scatter you could be in real trouble. To avoid this problem you'll have to be very careful about the initial placement of your Vindicators because that initial placement is going to dictate your options for where to safely drop your drop pods.
Second, if your opponent gets to go first then the only thing you'll have on the board is your 3 vindicators, 3 TWC and your Thunderlord. Guess what he's going to shoot all his lascannons and krak missiles at? (HINT: Not your vindicators.) If that happens there is the potential for your opponent to earn 'First Blood' and 'Slay the Warlord' before you even get a turn. I suppose you could deploy your TWC behind the Vindi's, to mitigate this. But then you're limiting your deployment options (again).
My recommendation to solve both of these problems would be to replace all of your Drop Pods with Rhinos. If you want to do Drop Pods, then swicth your vindicators out for long fangs.

I totally agree about possibly scattering onto myself... But deploying carefully for that aspect I'm pretty okay with. I feel regardless my wolves are going to eat every shot no matter what else I take, and If they do I do have the three vindicators :O ill be testing it tonight! The tip on the wolf lord is very help ful, ill try out a fist. Appreciate your input.

Good luck.
Still, if you have the models, just bring 3 Rhinos with you just in case. If you have time for two games, try the same list with Rhinos instead.
You can hide your TWC behind Rhinos and prevent the enemy from targeting them. Also, you have more control over the position of a your Rhinos which allows you to avoid your Vindi blasts. On turn 1, your vindi's can shoot where ever they want and your Rhinos are guaranteed to be out of the way.

I think this makes sense as well. Rhinos compliment Vindicators and having more tanks makes it much easier to push the Thunderwolves forward. Drop Pods are just so good now. A solid Alpha Strike of 3 or more pods can cripple certain opponents. I guess that's why most podding Space Wolf lists I've run recently have guard blobs or Long Fangs with Aegis Lines now a days. Gotta have something survivable on board in case you don't go first.
