Subject: A question about gone to ground and fearless

Just a question that came up the other day.
A group of Genestealers are out of synapse range in a building.
Genestealers are fired upon and 'go to ground' to reduce casualties.
In my next turn, a spod with Zoanthropes deep strikes next to the 'stealers.
Technically at this point, the 'stealers are ineligible to be 'gone to ground' as they are fearless.
The question is: Can the Genestealers move, or are they still 'gone to ground' even though they are fearless?

First I assume you meant Ruin, not building.
2nd, per the BRB FAQ:
Q: If a unit has the Fearless special rule applied to them while they
have Gone to Ground, are the effects of Go to Ground immediately
cancelled (for example, if this were to occur at the start of their turn
could those units then move, shoot etc. as normal in the appropriate
phases?) (p35)
A: Yes.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Thanks Happyjew, I must have totally missed that in the FAQ. Glad to have a correct interpretation of the rule so obviously laid out.
... and yes, I meant a ruined building.

Fairly sure genestealers are fearless anyways. But yes, the FAQ covers this.
