Purdue Wargamers is sponsoring a Warhammer Fantasy escalation league starting this Sunday (Feb 24th) at 2pm at the Sage's Shoppe in West Lafayette, IN.

The focus of this league is to provide an easy in to and garner interest in Fantasy. We will be starting at 750pts and slowly increasing the points across the coming weeks. This is not a competitive league, but more like a structured way to learn the game or get back into it. We will be focusing on rules and army overviews, and teaching games this first week. We already have more than a handful interested and are hoping to revive the once thriving fantasy community in the area. Even if you are an avid fantasy player already, we encourage you to come out and join us. Your help in teaching others and your insight to your armies is always welcome. Some of us will have our larger armies on hand for friendly games afterward.

As always you do not need to be a Purdue student or a member of the club to participate, we look forward to seeing everyone there!

Hey i plan to attend Purdue this fall. What is the 40k scene like?Might get back into fantasy if there is a large enough gaming group.
