Hello All,
I've just done up my first battle report of the year (Tournaments have taken up so much time it's taken 6 weeks to do so!). This one is with my new Lizardmen army against my old foe Brendon's Beastmen Herdstone list. I hope you enjoy and don't judge me to harshly for giving my Gobbos a break as I'm sick of the little buggers after the last tournament.

Enjoy! and be sure to follow the blog if you're interested in reading more.

Cheers. Sneaky Gobbo (Skink?)

On the perfumed wind

Great report. I appreciate the concise descriptions, and your Battle Chronicler pics are really crisply executed.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

Thanks guys, I'll aim to keep putting them up as long as I can vary my opponents. I live in a pretty small town so not too many different people to play :(

Very well written batrep. You made it very easy to follow the action. Have to say around the 3rd turn I was beginning to feel sorry for your opponent.

BAO 2015 : Best Space Wolves.

The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.

Really good rep. It looked like the Beastmen never got started.

May your chest inspire the hopes and dreams of millions.
May your arm girth frighten the elderly, slow moving adults and very small children.
May your gains be plentiful.
Go forth and LIFT.

What do you feel would work very well against your army? I'm thinking a shooty dwarf army?

Any army with solid saves or plenty of shooting that can castle and put out ranged damage should be able to do ok. It's not the most dangerous Lizard build out there by a long shot.

Will its not the 5 scar vet star but it's definitely one of the stronger builds. I've seen a similar army posted before and I believe the person said that he had one a decent amount of tournaments with it.

I think it could be annoying/frustrating to play against but the army concept is listed in the lizardmen book
