I posted this picture in the model showcase and it raised a question of legality. I won't be playing any official tournaments, just casual friendlies with friends and at my local GW which is pretty relaxed (my RP is a Scibor model anyway). Because of the posing of the wolf, he's taller than I'd have liked (got him as a random bit from a bitz seller). So, as seen in the pics below, he's about as tall as the RP. My interpretation of the CotS rule, is that smaller = shorter. Since the actual size wouldn't matter, but line of sight could, that's what I based it off of. Now, to justify this model and avoid setting it aside and buying another, I figure when the wolf would be standing he'd be well shorter than the RP so thus provides no distinct game play advantages. What do you guys think?

Picture is a bit fuzzy, but I think it's probably good enough.

I made a hover-drone for my rune priest that basically started in shoulderhight of the priest and then went even taller so what i have done is to mark the drone at the priests eye-level and take line of sight from that

from the picture it looks like you could do the same even if eye height isnt the same as the priest, measure a point that is and play it that way

for me this system has never caused any problems anywhere and even though I dont play serious tournaments I play now and then against unfamiliar people from FLGS.

The size of the Chooser is largely irrelevant for gameplay purposes. I would be fine with the wolf.

Size is important.
The bigger it is the more of the board is in LOS so it makes it better for the priest to get his +1 BS with.

Right, but as there is no chooser model, as long as it is smaller than the runepriest (per page 36), you are good to go.

Thanks for the reassurance guys! I'm pretty proud of these models, and I think the wolf is a nice change of pace from birds. I'm eager to get going with these guys!
