I've got a match coming up soon against 2 horde armys and eldar and really want to give my c'tan some kill time.

This could be a silly question but like most thinks I've prob read it wrong. Ok a monterous creature can fire both of its weapons and move so can a c'tan use pyreshards and moulder in one shooting action? would make a nice weapon platform if it could. if not then im thinking maybe pyreshards and gaze of death. Know i know pyredhards are not the most loved of powers but im interesred to see how they do against masses of weaker units.

These are the powers im looking at unless anyone thinks others are better suited to the job??

The only problem with taking any of the ranged attacks is it keeps you from running during the shooting phase, something a Gaze of Death C'tan will most likely want to do to make sure it gets in assault as often as possible. I know that you cannot assault after running, but getting that extra movement turn 1 or 2 may mean the world to you C'tan, who lives to be punching his huge fists through your enemies faces.

so if i go with an assault option I'll try gaze and dust for cover save. Add solar pulse or stormlord to help with cover.

On the shooty option tho could you use shards and moulder in same shooting phase. 8 hits plus a large blast tho its only str 4 it could hurt a horde?
