Both scratch-built using random bitz, plasticard, wire, and plastic pipes of varied sizes.

I made the KFF awhile ago, i just never posted him. Realized this when i went to put Wazdakka up here, so heres my KFF too.
Yea, hes technically boy-size not near-warboss-sized, but hes on the right base and elevated a bit so who cares lol.
Using Grotprods and ... lots of plastic pipes and wires ... bam KFF ahoy!

Now for Wazdakka. My friends had a hard time figuring out what was built and what was normally that way lol. The Dakkacannon is built from plastic pipes and part of a Dakkajet (the underwing part that holds one of the guns) and everyone seriously thought it wasnt scratchbuilt lol.
Rear fender is made of spare dakkajet nose-plates (the thing thats right in front of the pilot) stuck together. Fits well, doesnt it?
The chain is from a trukk's Spike Ball, as is the hubcap on the other side. Wheels are too, obviously.
The Bosspole is the leftover from my recent Ghazghkull Thraka paintjob (look in my gallery if you didnt see that one), i just slapped on random skulls for added fluff.

(Might have to zoom in to see anything, this image got a lot bigger than i thought it would)

And as a comparative, heres the portrait-snapshot of Wazdakka!

Aside from his arm being lower than the pic and his guns arent in one place, i think i got pretty damn close.
Even if the rumors are true that GW is producing a legit Wazdakka model (finally) im still never getting it lol. This guy is by far the best boss in my army, i'd rate him higher than Ghaz on coolness (in my army anyway)

That Wazdakka is the truest to codex conversion I have seen. Kudos!

Very nice, I envy Ork players, whether it be 40k or Battlefleet Gothic they are the easiest faction to personalize.

Orks are the easiest to customize because they technically have no guidelines to build by. All you do is slap things together and NOT make it look like crap. Ghetto-rigged...yes...crap no lol.

I would probably spend nearly twice the time on non-ork scratchbuilds because of the vehicle/model guidelines i'd have to follow. Building a custom Land Raider for instance wouldnt be very interesting since it would just be a baby's shoebox with treads and guns lol. Which is about the right size anyway.

Initially i wasnt caring about sticking with the original wazdakka. But as i built the bike i started leaning that way anyway. About halfway through i found out NOBODY ever makes wazdakka even remotely close to the picture....challenge accepted

I think you've done a very good job of marrying a piece of concept art to a finished product, which is something that takes an incredible amount of skill and patience. Great work!
