Is anyone out there using him?
I find amazing his setup with Conversion Beamer and Bike, but seems pretty expensive and sincerly I can't evaluate how might be competitive...
Any suggestions?

I think the Master of the Forge on bike with Conversion Beamer can certainly be a solid choice, but overall it's quite expensive and I'm not sure whether he is truly worth the points, especially as I've felt less of an urge to field massed Dreadnoughts in 6th Edition.

even without the bike and beamer hes pretty good. he fortifies a ruin and is very good in shooting and combat. if you giv him a bolt pistol he has 5 base attacks, 2 of which are a power fist. has a heavy flamer and a TL plas pistol.
And oh yah he lets you take Dreds in heavy. i love the MOF.

He doesn't have the same force multiplier capacity of a stock librarian, but he lets you front-load extra dreads and/or take different combinations. Dreads with sternguard or terminators for instance. He has a 2+ save and a good mix of attacks, but no invul so being the warlord in larger games is risky.
A bike is the optimal delivery system for the beamer given its unique range/damage set-up. I've heard of people putting him with scouts or the like behind an aegis or what have you, but the beamer gets worse as the enemy closes and the bike really helps being relentless. Its also nice for the jink save.
I'd probably run him plain (or power weapon), or beamer on a bike. I've also been considering bringing one in as DA allies with a pair of ironclads on a playdate with some Deathwing...

I like Vaylind Cal from the Badab War. I mean if I'm going to take an expensive character then might as well get fearless for my army and fnp for my devastators while I'm at it.
Plus him being a melee beat stick and T6 doesn't hurt things.

I thought of bringing him with tooled up Libby in pod with 9 sternguard
He can take power axe with pistol for 3 base axe plus the 2 fist attacks
If you really want to go crazy give him a pp or combiplasma, that's up to 3 plasma shots at BS5 with 2+ then his CC for close in work
Expensive certainly but could be used effectively

I would think a Bike would be a waste of points, while yes it would make him relentless and able to shoot after moving, but with a good deployment, you don't need to worry about that. I usually deploy him with a combat squad(soak up wounds) up on the battlements of a tall ruin or building. This will generally give me a good field of view, and the height from the terrain helps to increas the range ever so slightly. I'll then usually use it to fire at Land Raiders, Storm ravens in hover mode, or some other equally nasty unit.
Also, I don't think you can run him plain, as the wording states " Take either: A power Weapon or Thunderhammer" which implies that you must take one, as the wording for everything else is ' May take'. Although I could be mistaken on this fact, but thats how my friends and I play it.

Thaanos: I guess I can see where you are coming from with the "Take either", however the fact that "Take either:" is under Options leads me to believe it isn't mandatory.
If you can get MotF back in a corner with good lines of fire, then the bike isn't necessary. The bike helps any time you don't have access to such a sweet spot. If the MotF is going to be your Warlord the T5 and jink help keep him alive as well.
Loricatus: In 5th this is exactly what I used the MotF for, after he unlocks dreads he can join a unit that gets close and personal with the enemy, bringing a lot of combat potential. I'm a little skittish of doing so now if he's the warlord, but his capability hasn't decreased any.
I would consider giving him an sword or even mace over that axe though. With the sword he does what very few other characters can, cover ap3 initiative attacks AND ap2. He isn't rocking ap2 initiative but for a 115pt character he does pretty OK. I could see using him with sword in a squad with an axe sgt. AP2 with a 3+? MotF kills him before he swings. Ap2 with a 2+? let the sgt fight and they can kill each other while MotF grinds the unit. Ap2 at initiative? Too much to expect from our 100pt hero.

Grim, agree, I like his axe though so would either convert him or just call it an axe and maybe put the sword on the SGT
