So, if I have a psyker from an old codex, I know I can choose to generate new psychic powers from the 6th ed book, or use his old codex powers. (In most cases.) Does that have to be the same army wide? For instance, if I take a librarian and Tigurius, can Tigurius keep his slew of powers, while the regular ol' libby rolls for new ones? Or do they both have to hold 'em or fold 'em together? How about allies? If I have an allied Eldar unit, do they have to do choose the same option the marines pick, or can they choose for themselves?

Psykers make the decision on a model by model basis, so for example, if you had two Zoanthropes forming a brood, both could keep codex powers, both could swap, or one could swap and one can keep the codex powers.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Each psyker can choose whether to use his own powers or the BRB.
