I got this set in the first week of December 2012 and have been painting it solidly since. Two and a half months later I'm pleased to announce I've finished this project.

The interesting thing with this project is I've pain-stakingly produced high quality detailed tutorials for each of the Dwarves, Gandalf, Bilbo and the Goblins. I've invested a lot of time into this but it's been completely worth it based on the response I've received on Tale of Painters. The bottom line is there is now a resource for painters who buy this set, something that White Dwarf failed to address, or Games Workshop wanted to charge iPad owners for. We also have a few guides for Dark Vengeance. It's worth checking out our tutorials.

Radagast is just so awesome!

Love the look, really looks exactly like they do in the movie (for those that saw it).

Very nice! Also i think its worth mentioning that those lotr figures really did improve since they were first introduced. I used to be rather annoyed and rarely finished models but these look really crisp and nice
