Playing against Raspuntina on Tues and I'm wanting to finally try out my Kirai/Izamu crew.

My mate is very fond of freezing over terrain and keeping my models at distance so I'm looking to try and exploit some loop holes! So basically, will my spirits count as touching the piece of scenery when he freezes it?

It depends on whether or not if your spirits have flight or float. If they don't have float or flight, or just just have flight, then yes they will be touching as they will be on the ground.

If they have float, then they can be on the terrain piece and not be affected by it.
