So, looking at the two 6th Edition codex releases so far, and the Dakka community's comments so far, it would appear that codex creep is slowly declining. Would you agree with this? I've heard the DA codex has some nice but not OP stuff, while Chaos Marines were decidedly "meh". Opinions?

Pretre: OOOOHHHHH snap. That's like driving away from hitting a pedestrian.

It's hard to tell with only two dexes.
4th had a streak of "Meh" codexs, but creep caught up shortly after.
We'll need to go a bit farther down the road to see, it's just too early to judge right now.
If this continues like 8th edition fantasy Army Books, then we won't have a problem.

Looking good so far imo. I have a funny feeling the daemon codex will be a bit underwhelming though, compared to the last 2.

Admittedly, you can't get too much out of white dwarf....
However, demons seemed to be ok.
For example, the army deploys normally, however (almost?) every unit has the deep strike rule.

So far the two 6th codex seems pretty well balanced. However I would take a wait and see approach. Assuming right now lots of people buy these armies at high cost, high volume. However if overall sales goes down. I think GW will release FAQ to OP units that are not selling well. Seems to be the case with the heldrake and GK dreadknight.

Well, fixed feelings. Daemonic instability and loss of eternal warrior seem to be bad news.
