Anyone have any tips for painting plaguebearers of nurgle? I'm not sure how to paint them, but i don't want them all to be the same color green.
What do you guys do for the skin? Wash? drybrush? layering?

Hopefully this will help. Good luck!

i saw one was painted purple on here or how about a sickly white with brown ink then gloss varnish? I'm not a fan of nurgle/chaos but i think that would be pretty cool.

You could go with a medium green and devlin mud wash. I'm a fan of iyaden yellow and Gretchen green with a devlin mud but only you can decide. Just make sure when your done with the wash you go back with the base color and clean it up a tad and do your highlights.

Gathering the Informations.

You could do what I'm planning on doing with my Crypt Ghouls.

Prime with black.
Basecoat with a flesh tone (I'm planning on Rakarth Flesh, as it is a bit more pale than most flesh tones)
Apply a mixture of 25% water, 5% dish soap (I use the Dawn liquid soap that looks blue in the container) and 70% Nurgling Green.
That mixture will apply like a wash rather than a normal paint, giving a bit of texture to the flesh tones.

Go back and use a 75/25 mixture of Ungor Flesh and Evil Sunz Scarlet for the boils and the like, very carefully highlighting the area around the boils with a Evil Sunz Scarlet mixture the same as the Nurgling Green one.
