Hi Dakka
I'm starting a new IG army and was wondering if anyone had any tactics other than 'I have more guns than you-I win'
I was planning on having a valkyrie and as many russes as possible as well as a few chimeras for mobility.
Any genius ideas?

I'd try to keep it in one thread. Still IG aren't a subtle army, the more guns you have, the more chance you have of winning.

Oh and Valkyries are pathetic compared to the Vendetta. If you're paying the cash for the model, with a small amount of converting you can get the best flier in 40k.
IMO russes are better for infantry heavy lists, in a mech list you want to go towards artillery. Not only do they increase target saturation, but they cost significantly less, making up in part for the price of chimerae.
