Finished my 2nd FC today!



Not gonna win me any painting trophies but at least he'll be able to "collect" trophies of his own!

That's actually all of my Malifaux that I have now! I'm happy with most of them but occasionally revisit for tweaks/touch ups!

Hoping to get Yan Lo box this Thurs but for now I guess I'll have to find something else to paint! (Won't be too hard! )

Shouldn't be too hard, she came out a bit . . . Meh!

But on a side note, I did use her for the first time last night and she wiped the floor with some pesky gremlins! (With a little help from Izamu! )

Regarding which, I am in a tough spot. I want it. I can get it for 7$ less if I order it from an online shop, or the full 35$ price locally, at a store where I never play and which constantly messes up my orders so I never get my stuff.

It got to a point where I had to actually ask for my money back saturday, over purchases made in the first week of January that had not come in yet.

What would you do, give them more money?

Pay where you play. It's always good to support an flgs, especially if you're playing there on a regular basis. I tend to buy things from online retailers that I can't get from my FLGS, though he can get almost anything so it's a bit of a moot point lol .

Edit: Speaking of gaming, how is that little gaming club you were trying to start up at a school?

It got itself off to a good start, but I haven't been called back regularly, so I check up on them as often as I can go back, which isn't often. The kids want to do more, but it seems getting kids excited about this kind of thing is not seen favourably by the administration.

So they are in a bit of a bind, because they want to learn more, know how to make terrain, paint their minis and such, but I have 0 support from the higher ups.

They have a handful of minis each (except for the IG guy, he has like 20!), a copy of the quick rules from the DV set (in French) and sample army lists and mini costs, but since literacy is so low, they can't go through the rules without someone reading them for them. Low literacy deters them from even attempting to read, period. So it's a bit of a pickle.

Been a little while but I finally got all the Ressers finished, just waiting for the Iron Zombies from the Uni of Transmortis and then I'll be ready for 2.0!
